The New 2008 'City Crash Test', TUV approved Pipe Tube
Rhino Products the UK's leading manufacturer of van roof bars, racks and associated accessories
for transporting all those awkward loads, have launched their 2008 updated version of the ever
popular 3 metre Pipe Tube.
The 2008 model when fully loaded with copper tube has been subjected to rigorous testing and
passed an independent 20g 'City crash test' (The same deceleration would bring you from 80mph to
a complete stop in less than 0.2 seconds)
The objective in passing the 20g crash test was to gain the German TUV quality endorsement, which
is presently Europe_s highest product safety accreditation.
The 2008 model includes improved anti theft locks and a unique steel bulk head has been introduced
to increase the overall strength and security of the 'Rhino Pipe Tube'
This modern design is manufactured from light but strong powder coated aluminium tubing, combined
with tough aerodynamically designed glass filled plastic end cones, to ensure minimal wind drag and
maximum style.
Available in 3 meter length the practical size enables plumbers / heating engineers to safely
transport over 50 x 15mm copper tubes as well as plastic tubing / trunking for the electrical and
general building trades.
